Kollmorgen, an international manufacturer of industrial automation products, introduces the 60WKS-CE240/12PB - a high-quality servo amplifier made to power its SM series of brushless synchronous servo motors. This model, operating at 240V, has a power section engineered as a pulse width modulated transistor stage (3-phase). It controls trapezoidal output currents and motor speeds via a PI controller. Equipped with customizable parameters on its PCB, smoothing capacitors and LED indicators for crucial operating states, it offers rich functionality. Other features include a standby relay for fault signalling, an input for rotor position sensor and fuses for DC-link and auxiliary power supply. It accommodates speed and current control, and provides protection mechanisms against earth faults, overvoltage and undervoltage. It also ensures temperature monitoring for output power transistors. The 60WKS-CE240/12PB requires a minimum motor inductance of 1.2 mH.
