Indramat CDB

Indramat CDB Controllers

The CDB series controllers provide various options for master communications and encoders, allowing for versatile integration into different industrial networks and systems. Master communication options include MultiEthernet (ET), PROFIBUS (PB), and two types of SERCOS interfaces, SERCOS III (S3) and a standard SERCOS interface (SE), catering to a wide array of network protocols. On the encoder side, Option 1 (X4.1) presents a choice between an encoder for High-Speed Fiber (HSF) or Resolving Sensor (RSF) marked as EN1, an encoder that supports EnDat 2.1 / 1Vpp / TTL protocols labeled as EN2, and an encoder for IndraDyn / Hyperface® / 1 Vpp / TTL identified as ENS. There's also an option for the controller to come without an encoder, designated as NNN. These configurations allow the controllers to be tailored to specific applications, offering high compatibility and precision for motion control systems.
