Indramat MSK

Indramat MSK Motors

The MSK series of motors from Rexroth includes a variety of frame sizes to accommodate diverse industrial requirements. The series spans from smaller frame sizes such as MSK030, MSK040, MSK050, MSK060, and MSK061 to larger ones like MSK070. This range continues with even more substantial sizes including MSK071, MSK076, MSK100, and MSK101, ensuring a broad spectrum of power and torque capabilities. Each frame size is designed to provide a specific set of characteristics in terms of power output and physical dimensions, catering to different application needs from compact machines to more demanding equipment requiring larger and more powerful motors. These motors are suited for use in various industries and are often paired with recommended screw sizes such as M10 or M12 to ensure secure mounting and optimal performance.

MSK Type Code Breakdown

Ambient Conditions

The ambient conditions suitable for MSK motors are quite accommodating to various industrial settings. These motors are designed to operate efficiently within an ambient temperature range of 0°C to 40°C, which allows them to be utilized in most standard manufacturing environments without risk of overheating. They are also capable of functioning at elevations up to 1000 meters above sea level without any degradation in performance. As per Class 3K4 environmental conditions, MSK motors can handle low air temperatures starting at +5°C and high temperatures up to +40°C. Relative humidity can range from a low of 5% to a high of 95%, ensuring that the motors can endure both dry and moist conditions. The allowed absolute air humidity levels range from 1 g/m^3 to 29 g/m^3, covering a vast span of atmospheric moisture content. Additionally, these motors are constructed to withstand temperature changes at a rate of 0.5°C per minute, ensuring durability against rapid climate variations.
