Indramat SF Motors

Indramat SF Motors

The SF motors are distinguished by their advanced design features that cater to precise motion control. They generate a sinusoidal electromotive force and are housed in a smooth, contaminant-resistant aluminum frame. The full length of the motor incorporates installation pockets for ease of integration. SF motors come with an integrated encoder that allows for single-turn precision and can be upgraded to a multi-turn system (MTG) for extensive rotational tracking. They are equipped with an electronic rating plate that facilitates automatic optimization with the Servodyn-D inverter, ensuring efficient communication and control. Additionally, these motors offer plug-in connections for output and encoders, and they can be outfitted with an optional holding brake. They also boast a high protection rating of IP 67, excluding the output side, and rely on natural convection for cooling, with an option for forced-air cooling if necessary. These features make the SF motors a highly adaptable and reliable choice for sophisticated engineering needs.
