Key Features

The BTA20 is designed to streamline wiring by utilizing slots that fit standard 22.5mm components from the ZB2 series by Telemecanique. It allows subsequent mounting of circuit elements and offers the flexibility of potential-free wiring adjustments through jumpers. The necessary connections for a hard-wired setup are provided by a 30-pin socket (X1-X3), which supports essential functions like the emergency stop, acknowledge circuit, and potential-free contact for each component.

For manual operation, two emergency stop and three acknowledge circuits are provided, and they can be configured on either side of the module. The BTA20 also integrates an INTERBUS connection within its circuit board, with an I/O width of three words and eight potential-free 24V inputs and outputs for additional devices like signal lamps.

Moreover, the device features a potential-free interface converter that facilitates seamless connectivity between the MTS-P’s RS232 interface and RS422 interfaces of user interfaces or manual control units without the necessity for extra interface boards. This integration endows the BTA20 with a high degree of flexibility and minimizes the need for additional wiring and components.
