Indramat DMA
Indramat DMA drives are designed for precise control and operation of synchronous and asynchronous motors. They come with a variety of options to suit different mechanical and operational requirements. These drives can operate at a maximum current frequency of 2 kHz, though the exact values should be referenced from technical data for each specific model.
The DMA drives come in various module widths, enabling them to fit in different mechanical configurations and backplane setups. The width options range from 50 mm (A), 100 mm (B), 200 mm (D), to 300 mm (F), and there is also a compact mechanics option (K).
DMA Type Code
- DM = Three-phase module for synchronous and asynchronous motors
- DS = Three-phase stand-alone inverters for synchronous and asynchronous motors
- Cooling options:
- none = air-cooling
- A = Air cooling (backplane mechanics)
- W = Integrated water cooling
- Maximum current at \( f_s = 2 kHz \) (exact value cf. technical data)
- Module width:
- A = 50 mm
- B = 100 mm
- D = 200 mm
- F = 300 mm
- K = compact mechanics
- 1st digit: Interfaces
- 1 = SERCOS interface
- 2 = customer interface
- 3 = analog, 12 bit resolution
- 4 = analog, 16 bit resolution
- 5 = 24 V control signals
- 6 = PROFIBUS-DP
- 7 = CANrho
- 8 = analog 10 bits, U/f characteristic
- 9 = CANopen and CANrho
- 2nd digit: Encoder interface
- 0 = no encoder interface
- 1 = standard
- 2 = gear encoder (contained in "1" for SERCOS interface)
- 3 = resolver
- 3rd digit: Additional functions
- 0 = none
- 1 = one axis positioning
- 4th digit: Variants
- 1 = standard
- 2 = manual mode with lower voltage
