VAU power supplies are meticulously engineered to cater to a range of operational needs, ensuring reliable performance even under stringent conditions. With a nominal input voltage of 24 V DC, compliant with DIN EN 60742 and classified under VDE 0551, they are suited for diverse applications. The input voltage range is flexible, accepting 24 V DC with a tolerance of +20% to -20%, thus accommodating slight fluctuations in power supply. The units are highly efficient, with a maximum power consumption of just 100 watts, and the current consumption remains within practical limits, at 4.2 A under normal conditions and 5.2 A at -20% of the nominal voltage. These specifications, combined with robust short-circuit protection and a bridging time of up to 5 minutes when the battery is 85% charged, underline the VAU power supply’s capacity to maintain consistent output and safeguard connected devices.
