Indramat CMP Controllers

CNC control modules CMP 40 and CMP 60 serve as the core of the MTX control system, equipped with both CNC and PLC capabilities. Designed for flexibility, they fit into available PCI slots on either Bosch Rexroth industrial PCs or compatible third-party computers. These modules come with standard interfaces for SERCOS-enabled intelligent drive activation, PROFIBUS-DP I/Os, and Ethernet-connected peripheral assemblies. Additionally, they offer an optional high-speed I/O interface that supports 8 inputs and outputs, enhancing their connectivity and speed.

Communication with PC Device

The CMP 40 and CMP 60 controllers communicate with the primary PC using TCP/IP protocol. They function together with the network adapter as a distinct subnet with static IP addresses. During setup, a specific IP address is allocated to the controller card, enabling the main PC to interface with it. Each controller card is also given a default symbolic name for easy identification.
