Indramat RD50

The RD 500 is an advanced, versatile three-phase drive system compatible with both synchronous and induction motors. It features modular hardware and software that can be customized for different drive applications. The system encompasses a range of AC drive converters (with options for braking choppers and line contactors), inverters for DC supply, and rectifier and supply modules that support regenerative feedback into the power line. These components can be bought separately or as a pre-wired assembly within a cabinet. The design of the power sections accommodates rear cooling, allowing for optional forced cooling solutions that increase protection, including methods like extending the heat sink outside the cabinet or utilizing conductive plates. Additionally, liquid cooling versions with integrated or separate heat exchangers are available.
