Kollmorgen's Ethernet servo drive, AKD-B00306-NBSQ-0000, is designed for operation in industrial environments as part of the AKD series. It should only be handled after electrostatic discharging and kept shock-free during transportation. The device features a two-character seven-segment LED display that indicates its status once powered by a 24 V supply. The servo drive comes complete with a grounding plate, mating connectors, and company-provided cables for connections. It's controlled by analog velocity commands via a TCP/IP service channel and includes integrated safety measures like overvoltage detection and a soft-start feature. Weighing only 2.7 kg, it has one programmable analog input/output but does not include a built-in ventilation fan or extendable option card. The drive automatically shuts down when overheating (indicated by an F234 fault code) and may be installed up to 2,500 m above sea level with a 1.5% power derating for every 100 meters. Its specifications also include a full 16-bit resolution for inputs/outputs and scalable bandwidths for position and velocity controllers.
