The AKD-B02407-NBSQ-0000, a product by Kollmorgen, is an Ethernet-based servo drive equipped with functional connectors and an integrated grounding plate. For optimal performance, shield connection clamps must be attached to the grounding plate. Serving a maximum voltage of 240 V +/-10%, the drive requires an isolating transformer when in conjunction with 400 V to 480 V networks, and its 24 VDC power supply is electrically isolated. The drive can share a DC bus link with similar drives provided they share the same mains supply. It contains a high DC voltage up to 900 V that may cause electrical arcing or shock. To ensure functional safety with a hanging load, the drive requires an additional mechanical brake. Furthermore, it supports virtually all commonplace feedback devices. Installation should be vertical, not horizontal, and for connection with a resolver, a maximum cable length of 100 meters is recommended. The AKD-B02407-NBSQ-0000 also boasts a swift digital current loop and connects to a SynqNet network using X5 and X6 RJ-45 connectors.
