The Kollmorgen AKD-M00306-M1EC-0000 servo drive is a high-performance, Ethernet-supported motion controller. The unit incorporates dynamic braking, managed by the DRV.DISMODE parameter, and allows for the external connection of a regen resistor, enabling a peak regen power of 5.4 kW for a second. The servo drive can directly control a 24 V holding brake of the connected motor and includes a unique one-character and standard two-character display. The device possesses exclusive IP and MAC addresses, with the MAC address displayed on the nameplate. Functioning with DHCP/AutoIP when the RS1 rotary switch is set to 0, it supports connections with other servo drives of the same series. The product also includes an SD card slot compatible with SDSC and SDHC cards, pre-formatted by the manufacturer. The device details any faults on its two-character display. The connection quality can be inferred from the illumination of LEDs on the industrial PC and X32 RJ-45 connector. Servicing is simple using the KAS IDE software.
