The AKD-M00307-M1EC-0000, produced by Kollmorgen, is an AC servo drive pre-installed with Kollmorgen WorkBench GUI software for straightforward programming and installation. It's modified to coincide with US standards and contains a Motion Card 1.2 GHz extension. With a focus on reliability, it includes current, over-voltage, and temperature detection and is SIL-qualified. Built with industry-leading power density, this servo drive boasts a sleek, robust design and maintains quick data acquisition. Its built-in braking system operates entirely within the hardware, using a dynamic braking method powered by motor back EMF. The unit has a 2000-Watt continuous power output and a maximum 15% regen duty cycle, with an internal and optional external resistor. Safety features include a STO secure function which prevents unintentional restarts, even when powered. A backup mechanical block such as a motor-holding brake is necessary for holding vertical loads. The device adheres to the IEC 60204 shutdown regulations.
