The AKD-M02406-M1EC-0000, a digital servo drive, is designed by Kollmorgen to function as a motion control drive. Equipped with a 1.2 GHz motion card, additional digital inputs and outputs, this device offers a built-in EtherCAT interface allowing it to operate as a slave in an EtherCAT network. It can be connected to an industrial PC through a standard Cat.5 Ethernet cable. The unit's IP address can be reset by toggling the 24 V supply voltage. It features a static IP address and employs one push-button and two rotary switches for executing predefined functions. Error diagnostics displayed via LED. However, it lacks an SD card slot. WorkBench software can configure its motion block, position control, and operating parameters. Lastly, its IP address assignments and IP.MODE settings are indicated on the LED display, triggered by pressing the push-button for a minimum of three seconds.
