The AKD-P00306-NAEC-D000 Ethernet Servo Drive, produced by Kollmorgen, is a high-speed, robust device suitable for precision motion tasks. Using single-line 21 AWG cables, it connects to digital inputs and outputs across a maximum length of 30m. It has the ability to directly control a motor's holding brake, but requires a closed control cabinet for use, and vertical mounting for operation. Use of this device and procedures such as assembly, setup, maintenance, and transportation should only be executed by trained professionals. Proper earthing and inrush current protection power supply is a must, given the product's leakage current of over 3.5 mA. The servo drive also requires correct polarity of DC power to prevent damage. Characterized by a preset Enable function on the eighth digital input, it's identifiable through its MAC address, while using a static IP address when directly connected to a PC.
