The Kollmorgen AKD-P00607-NBCN-0000 is a versatile Ethernet servo drive, capable of supporting diverse feedback devices and featuring a high power density. This unit harnesses a CANopen bus interface and enables setting of associated node address via two rotary switches. Users have the flexibility to apply an auto baud algorithm or set a fixed baud rate for startup behaviour. The device's auxiliary power supply of 24V must be restarted after setting the node address. The servo drive requires connection to the CANopen interface with a bus cable of maximum 120 Ohms impedance and permits a transmission rate of 1,000 kBaud for a maximum cable length of 10 meters. An interface cable connects it to a PC's Ethernet interface, with logic power supplied through the X1 connector. On supplying logic power, an LED display is activated, signalling a sequence of flashes. The IP address is entered manually in the WorkBench software, ensuring the device appears on the software's Overview screen. Only those with extensive knowledge in electrical engineering and drive technology should conduct testing and startup.
