The AKD-P00607-NBS3-0000 servo drive by Kollmorgen is an indexer specially modified for US standards. These units, sporting a standard housing and no option cards, utilize an IP address that is user-configurable through software or hardware methods. SERCOS III bus interface supports a range of ring and line topologies, available at its X5 and X6 connectors, with diagnostic LEDs built into the connectors. The device includes digital inputs compatible with either switched +24 V or switched GND, alongside short circuit protection. Jogging function is established through a set point input, while analogue and digital type I/O signals can be connected via its two I/O connectors. Its fault relay output connection at X8 offers a 10ms timeframe for open/close process. Hardware Enable input's STO must have a 24V signal for the Enable function to be available. The device possesses digital inputs 3 to 7 with a low state rating of less than 15 mA current and -2V to +2V voltage. Finally, it uses its first two digital inputs for quick position latching.
