The Kollmorgen AKD-P01206-NBS3-0000 is an AC servo drive tailored to American industry standards. Designed for industrial use, not residential, it optimizes precision and output through multiple feedback devices and functionalities. The hardware is compact and light, with dimensions of 225mm height, and a 2kg weight. It features high-speed digital current loops, torque, and velocity-loops, boasting a continuous output power of 4000 Watts. It houses SERCOS III connectivity and is compatible with one-phase or three-phase power supplies. It should only be wired with copper conductors, appointed to a closed control cabinet that suits the environment. Its internal regen resistor allows for possible external resistor connectivity, with a peak regen power up to 11.7 kW for 0.5 seconds. It also includes a Safe Torque Off (STO) feature, preventing unintentional restarts, although this necessitates the addition of a mechanical block or motor-holding brake for vertical loads. It has a built-in stop function as per IEC 60204 regulation.
