Kollmorgen's AKD-P04807-NBCN-0000 is a position indexer servo drive with a CANopen fieldbus interface, specifically designed to be installed by electrical engineering professionals. The device isn't suitable for residential usage and might sustain damage if connected to the wrong mains voltage. Using WorkBench software, users can modify parameter settings. Connections to the main electrical supply should only occur after establishing other connections such as digital control inputs and outputs, analog ground, feedback device etc. An external regen resistor can be safely connected provided the necessary fuse protection. Its wiring follows a specific manufacturer-provided diagram and ensures an extensive conductive connection for grounding. Users can interface the device with an industrial PC via a Cat. 5 Ethernet cable. The servo drive offers flexibility with its digital inputs, while its digital outputs support various modes based on function.
