The Kollmorgen AKM21C-CKMN22-00 is a high-quality servomotor with an open keyway shaft, designed for operation with a Kollmorgen servo amplifier under speed and/or torque control. This 58mm flange size device, with a rotor length of 1 and C winding type, is easy to implement and use, aided by instantly recognizable plug-and-play functionality. Ambient operation temperatures fall between 0°C and 40°C, with inbuilt temperature sensors in the stator windings. The servomotor incorporates a 2048 PPR comcoder feedback device and comes supplied with a 0.5m shielded cable with IP20 connectors for power and feedback signals. Handling of the motor's surface requires caution due to possible temperatures of over 100°C, and it permits axial and radial loads of 60N and 145N respectively at 5000 RPM. Wiring and assembly should only be done by electrical engineering professionals, with the device de-energized and the power supply switched off.
