The Kollmorgen AKM41H-ACCN2-00 synchronous servomotor is designed for industrial applications, boasting a compact form factor with high performance. Not suitable for residential use, it features a three-phase stator winding and rotor with permanent magnets. Its potted profile enhances thermal dissipation, while Class F insulation ensures reliability. The motor is equipped with a rugged powder-coated housing and two M23 Intercontec connectors angled at 90 degrees. It includes an electrically isolated thermistor with specified resistance. Although rated for altitudes above 1000 meters without derating, diagonal mounting is not possible. Rated IP 65 for protection, it meets DIN 42955 standards with a Class N flange tolerance. The rotor's moment of inertia affects its acceleration, and an incremental encoder with commutation is used. It lacks a radial shaft sealing ring and retrofit options, requiring separately purchased mating connectors. Proper phase sequencing is essential to avoid rotation issues.
