The Kollmorgen's AKM42G-ANC2R-00 is a three-phase, brushless DC synchronous servomotor. Designed for use exclusively with a matching SERVOSTAR servo amplifier, it incorporates axial and radial forces that must be verified during electrical installation. The holding brake, slightly enlarging standard size, operates in connection with the servo amplifier. High current bearing cables comply with EN 60204 standards and are UL-Listed, featuring a UL style number on the sheath. The motor's core insulation utilizes polyesteraphtalate, while the rotor consists of permanent magnets. With an operation temperature range of 5 to 40°C, potential power derating may occur if ambient temperature or installation altitude exceeds legal limits. Prized for high performance and durability, it features a smooth shaft and easy commissioning. Its holding brake cannot be retrofitted and operates optimally under 480 VAC mains voltage.
