The Kollmorgen AKM42S-GCSN2-02 from the AKM Synchronous Servo Motors series by Kollmorgen is a compact, high-performance brushless motor featuring a standard IP54 rating for dust and splash protection. With a motor diameter of 84 mm and a motor length of 147.8 mm, it delivers a continuous stall torque of 3.56 N-m and a peak stall torque of 11.6 N-m. The shaft diameter of 19 mm and a rotor inertia of 0.000145 kg-m² ensure precise, low-cogging operation. An integrated holding brake is available, adding 33.5 mm in length and providing 6 N-m of brake torque.
