The AKM44S-BSMN1-02 is a high-performance servomotor developed by Kollmorgen, specifically designed for industrial machinery, such as robots, machine tools, and packing and textile equipment, necessitating both stability and dynamism. Powered by a Kollmorgen servo amplifier for speed and torque control, it employs neodymium-iron-boron magnets in its rotor, three-phase winding in its stator and a Comcoder with a 1024 PPR feedback mechanism. Sporting a 0.5m shielded cable with IP20 connectors, this servomotor doesn't come with a brake but has a notable shaft and flange customization, conforming to NEMA standards. It has a flange size of 84mm, 10 poles, and requires negligible maintenance. Assembly and operation should be conducted by trained professionals to prevent undue strain. During transport and handling, care must be taken to prevent bending components or altering insulation clearances, and axial load on the motor shaft should be minimized to maximize its lifespan.
