The AKM52M-ACC2C-01 synchronous servomotor from Kollmorgen is engineered for precision speed or position control when paired with the compatible SERVOSTAR digital servo amplifier, forming a closed-loop control system. The motor features a neodymium-iron-boron spring-applied holding brake and a cylindrical shaft, safeguarded by a cap. Operating at surface temperatures above 100°C, it requires proper earthing of its housing and should not be cleaned by immersion. A voltage constant of 42.4 mVmin is specified, and the integrity of operation could be compromised if current or voltage exceed specified limits. Designed with IP67 protection, it incorporates a radial shaft seal but lacks mating connectors, instead using angular connectors.
