The Kollmorgen AKM74P-ANCNDA01 is a synchronous servomotor that features a single-turn optical encoder, utilizes UL Listed cables for connections, and is prone to dust accumulation due to forced convection. This unit, lacking a holding brake, requires the fan housing to be securely attached in environments with strong vibrations. Due to safety considerations, its operation in explosive areas and contact with food and drinks is prohibited. It must be earthed correctly and equipped with EMC shielding. Incorporating characteristics like low harmonic distortion and high power density, it also boasts an easy commissioning process, a maximum DC bus voltage rating of 640 VDC and a 120 kgcm^2 moment of inertia for the rotor. The device requires skillful handling for installation in single-axis or multiple-axis systems and should only be handled by qualified personnel. Lastly, it's important to note that it should not be live when its electrical connections are being made or unmade.
