The 0GH-NC303, manufactured by B&R Automation, is a sophisticated Ultrasonic Transducer Module introduced in 2010 for industrial applications. It incorporates a high-performance RISC processor with an instruction cycle time of 0.8 µsec, supported by unbuffered dual-ported 384 Byte SRAM and 256 Kbyte system memory, ensuring efficient data processing. With a gate measurement resolution of 7.69 µsec, it offers precision across its varied I/O, including 4 digital inputs and outputs at 24 VDC, 4 analog inputs from 0 to 10V at 12 Bit, and 5 analog outputs at ±10V, 12 Bit. A Polyswitch with a polymer PTC provides protection against overload and short circuits. It operates with a nominal input current of approximately 5.7 mA, withstands up to 500 V peak voltage, and incorporates a residual transistor voltage of 0.5V max at 1A. The unit measures 285 mm x 80 mm x 185 mm and consumes 21 W plus 1.5x encoder power, making it ideal for robust and precise automation tasks.
