The 1070170286 (PPC-R22.1N-T-V2-NN-NN-FW) CNC module is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat from their PPC series. The product, which must be free of condensation during all stages of use and transport, is designed for RECO units housed within specialized manufacturer enclosures. The device comes pre-installed with a short AKR1 or a long AKR2 connection board that connects to the PLC assembly via a local bus. Comprehensive with all necessary jumper settings, the module is ready for operation upon installation. Additionally, the CNC module is equipped with a fiber optic receiver and transmitter along with an H2 distortion display for its SERCOS interface. A software module socket is located at the top of the unit, and the device tolerates a broad ambient storage and transportation temperature range of -25°C to +70°C.
The three sockets for the axis processor modules positioned at the top can only be activated by the boot loader/monitor firmware component. The device cannot be used in excessive heat or significant temperature fluctuations. To prevent any risk, operational safeguard guards and covers must be correctly installed before use. Serving multiple functions, the CPU firmware takes care of NC program processing, zero offset, tool management, and block preparation. Meanwhile, the APR firmware handles axis functionality like axes interpolation and SERCOS interface communication.
