The 2ME915.90-1 application memory module by B & R Automation is designed for the B&R System 2010, accommodating processor modules like CP10x, CP2x0, and MP100, and features 2MB of SRAM and 2MB of FlashPROM to support extensive user applications and operating system data. It includes PCC software and integrated logic for FlashPROM programming, along with an LED display for real-time programming status. The module has a write protection switch and is equipped to buffer its SRAM using either a lithium battery or a gold foil capacitor, maintaining data integrity for up to two years or at least ten minutes, respectively. The module operates within temperatures of -20°C to +70°C without a battery, and -20°C to +60°C with one. Safe lithium battery replacement is facilitated by powering down the system first. The compact module measures 103mm in height, 32mm in width, and 122mm in depth, and supports hot-swapping of batteries.
