The Kollmorgen 502-03840-03R2 is a servo encoder module designed for the PiC 900 industrial control system; a system combining motion, logic, and process control, programmed by PiCPro software via function block language and ladder logic. The 502-03840-03R2 fits perfectly into a single slot within the PiC rack. Its specifications allow it to operate within the temperature range of 45 - 131°F, with a storage temperature of -40 - 185°F, and it can handle 5 - 95% non-condensing relative humidity. Along with noise immunity against 4kV contact mode electrostatic discharge and 8kV air discharges, UL and cUL certify the module. The module, measuring 12 x 1.6 x 8.4 inches, features 3 encoder inputs, 3 DC inputs, and 4 analog outputs. It turns 16-bit digital words into 11V analog signals and resets all outputs to the OFF state during a scan loss.
