The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MDD093A-N-060-N2L-130GB0 is a cutting-edge synchronous servo motor from the MDD series with digital servo feedback. The encoder system uses optical measurement for indirect position assessment and has a precision of ±0.5 angular minutes, eliminating the need for an external incremental encoder. With a nominal speed of 6,000 RPM and a peak current capacity of 165.8A, the servo-motor is equipped with a rotor with an inertia moment of 22 x 10-4 kgm2, generated by its robust permanent magnet constituents. High radial loads can be applied to its plain shaft, allowing easy attachment of pinions and belt pulleys. The shaft also comprises a standard seal to resist fluid ingress. The MDD model has an IP 65 rating per DIN 40 050, ensuring resistance to solid particles and water jets. The cooling mechanism involves natural convection or surface cooling, facilitating high load handling. The servo motor is optimally run between 0oC and 40oC.
