R911324522 (MSK100B-0400-NN-M1-AG2-NNNN) is a synchronous servomotor created by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, designed exclusively for operation with its paired drive controller and specifically made for potentially explosive environments as indicated by the EC 94/9 ATEX directives. The unit, part of the MSK product groups, must be operated as per safety and usage guidelines correctly understood by trained personnel. Pairing it with drive controllers from other makers and in conditions requiring higher explosion protection than what's specified on the type plate is highly discouraged.
Installation and operation of the motor, handled by skilled staff only, must comply with national EMC regulations. After being switched off, it should be allowed to cool for at least 140 minutes before any further work is performed. It must be grounded before use due to potentially high working current and electrical voltage. It provides a 100-size code and can be positioned both horizontally and vertically. Overheating during operation is possible. The drive controller controls its holding brake and extreme care must be taken during connecting or disconnecting operations which should not be performed in a de-energized state. Furthermore, the tensile loading on the cables should not surpass the stated limit. Power and encoder connections are through circular connectors, and efficient operation necessitates a corrosion-free surface.
