B & R Automation's 5AP1120.156B-000 is a member of the AP1000 automation panel range, aimed at enhancing productivity in diverse operations. Features include a 15.6" single-touch analog resistive touchscreen, possessing an 81% ±3% transmittance equipped with a B&R touch controller supporting hardware calibration. The LED backlight display operates at half-brightness for 70,000 hours with adjustable brightness from 40 cd/m² to 400 cd/m². High-resolution graphics are provided via a 1366 x 768 resolution HD display, housed in a coated aluminum frame with a 3mm built-in gasket. Embedded thermal sensors provide vital protection from overload. Designed for indoor use, the front part is UL 50 Type 4X certified with an IP 65 rating to prevent water jet and dust ingress and it is touchproof. However, the back is only IP 20-rated. The panel operates on a 24V DC nominal voltage, ±25%, with a 3A nominal current.
