8CCH01X01.11110-1
B & R Automation manufactures the 8CCH01X01.11110-1 motor cable as part of its CM16 Motor Cables series. The assembly combines power conductors, signal cores, and data pairs in a single routed bundle, simplifying wiring between servo drives and synchronous motors in industrial automation cells. By integrating feedback and supply channels into one molded harness, the cable reduces routing complexity and helps maintain EMC performance when axes move along gantries, packaging stations, or pick-and-place robots. This combined layout also reduces the number of separate cable runs that must travel through moving machine sections.
At the drive end, the cable terminates in a 15-Pin Female TYCO connector with 15 contacts, so one plug manages the five power cores, four signal wires, and four data conductors noted in the type code. The five power cores have a cross-section of 2.5 mm², allowing continuous phase current without excessive voltage drop, while the four data conductors use 0.34 mm² copper to support encoder traffic with low capacitance. The connector has an IP65 sealing rating, which helps protect the interface from dust and coolant spray in industrial service. Mechanical service life is limited to 20 mating cycles, so repeated connection and disconnection should remain occasional rather than frequent.
The outer jacket is molded from PUR, giving abrasion resistance and chain-friendly flexibility while the cable travels between moving beams in temperatures from -40 to +80 °C. Beneath this layer, a composite shield of tinned copper braid >85% + foil surrounds the cores; the braid helps carry low-frequency interference away, and the foil reduces high-frequency noise. As a result, the isolated sensor circuit sized at 0.75 mm² can maintain stable analog values even when adjacent phases are switching current. The internal layout follows the CM16 pin assignment so that power, control, and feedback conductors stay separated and the harness fits in compact cable carriers.
