The X20SC0842 from B & R Automation features 8 sink-type input channels and a 24 VDC module supply voltage. Part of the X20 Fieldbus Input Output Modules, it offers IP20 protection and spring clamp terminals. The module provides galvanic isolation between buses and channels and a typical input delay of 3 ms.

It operates from -25 to +60 °C and consumes 0.5 W (typical). It includes per-channel status LEDs. The unit mounts easily on a standard DIN rail.
