The HVE04.2-W075 power supply unit, manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, provides unregulated DC bus voltage to one or more connected drive controllers. The unit, which is compactly designed, comprises a built-in contactor for shutting down the power supply. Its power output is voltage-dependent, and the permissible relative humidity stands at up to 95%. The module can store 144W energy for each mF of auxiliary capacitance, when connected to 3 x 400VAC, and requires placement near the drive controller for maximum performance. The unit's installation control cabinet needs air circulation to prevent damage from overheating. It has a 250mm width, provides continuous DC bus power of 90kW, peak power of 270kW for 0.3 seconds, and a short-term power of 180kW when used with a GLD20 DC bus choke and a 3 x 480VAC mains supply. Appropriate cables are required to connect the control voltage bus. Designed to operate with three-phase systems, the unit offers 80A mains current rating without the DC bus choke, and 120A with the DC bus voltage at 400V-480V. This power supply module is available for global dispatch.
