The MKD093C-058-GG0-AF servo motor, produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, is part of their permanent magnet motor series, designed for use with Rexroth’s digital drive controllers. This 6000 RPM rated motor has a 23.5 kg weight and does not have a holding brake as standard, but an optional 22 Nm holding brake can be added if needed. The motor operates two modes; in air-cooled mode it has a rated torque and current of 23 Nm and 28.3 Amps respectively, but in liquid-cooled mode these increase to 43.7 Nm and 53.8 Amps. The casing has an IP 65 rating and is black-coated. Modifiable aspects include a voltage constant of 82.7 Volts/1000 RPM and a torque constant of 0.91 Nm/A both at 20 degrees Celsius. The motor is designed with a plain shaft, a sealing ring, and side A-located encoder output and power connection.
