The Beckhoff CX5140-0112 is an embedded PC functioning as a control system. Equipped with a 1.9GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor, this device is from the CX5100 series and operates on the pre-installed Windows Embedded Compact 7 operating system. The embedded PC uses TwinCAT 2 NC PTP as its control software and has a maximum power load of 23W. Effective within 95% relative humidity, the PC also includes an internal clock, battery-backed for accurate time and date. Ideal for storage temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C, the CX5140-0112 offers multiple optional interfaces such as PROFIBUS, RS232, and CANopen with a DisplayPort for monitor connectivity. In addition to the above, three 3.5mm sockets are available for headphone connection. The unit is powered by a Panasonic or Sony CR2032 battery, which should be replaced every five years, and green LED indicator signifies power supply connection and functioning.
