The Beckhoff-manufactured CX9020-0111 is an embedded PC tailored to fit various applications. As a DIN rail-mountable control system, it merges modular I/O level and PC technology. This compact control system's unique packaging reduces installation cost and space since it only incorporates components necessary for the control system. Its configurations can be delicately adjusted via interface additions or omissions. The permissible operating temperature between -25 to 60 degrees Celsius suits it for demanding environments. It effortlessly detects the bus system (E-bus or K-bus), adjusting accordingly. Features include an ARM Cortex 1 GHz processor, a 1 GB DDR3 RAM main memory, flash memory with two microSD slots, and 128 KB NOVRAM persistent memory. A Windows Embedded Compact 7 operating system and TwinCAT 2 PLC runtime environment are installed. It boasts two bus status, TC status, power, and two flash access diagnostics LEDs, and operates on a 24V DC power supply. Weight stands at 590g, with UL, CE, and IECEx approvals.
