131B4264
The 131B4264 variable frequency drive is manufactured by Danfoss and belongs to the VLT FC 102 HVAC Drives series. Designed for building-automation tasks, it alters the output frequency supplied to centrifugal fans, pumps, and compressors so that airflow, pressure, or temperature follows set-point commands. Its compact housing supports cabinet installation in retrofit or new construction projects where precise motor-speed regulation is required.
It provides an electrical power conversion capacity of 30 kW, equivalent to 40 HP, allowing it to run medium-sized HVAC motors without derating. The input stage accepts 380–480 VAC supply and operates on a three-phase network, ensuring balanced current loading in commercial utility grids. A built-in rectifier and PWM inverter convert the mains voltage into a variable output frequency that can be adjusted from zero to the rated line frequency. The enclosure carries an IP21 / Type 1 backplate rating, which affords basic protection against fingers and vertically falling drops of water when mounted inside conditioned electrical rooms.
Operator interaction is through a graphical LCP, giving parameter access, trend readouts, and local start-stop control without additional tools. Radio-frequency interference is minimized by the integrated RFI filter, a requirement when drives share switchboards with sensitive BMS or fire-alarm electronics. Mechanical installation uses the Frame B & C backplate arrangement, letting the heatsink extend beyond the cabinet while the control section remains internal for improved airflow. Because the unit includes no brake chopper, excess regenerative energy must be managed by the motor or external dissipation devices, which is acceptable for the predominantly motoring profiles encountered in HVAC duty cycles.
