176F2143
The 176F2143 is a replacement power board manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT PowerCards series. Mounted inside a VLT adjustable-speed drive, the board forms the intermediary stage that rectifies line power and feeds the converter’s DC link. It slides into a dedicated card slot, mates with edge connectors, and brings the drive back online after a fault or age-related component failure. By isolating the power section from the control and user interface layers, the product allows service personnel to exchange only the damaged circuitry and return pumps, fans, or material-handling motors to closed-loop operation in minutes.
The card is identified by mains voltage code 7, which corresponds to an input window of 525–690 VAC; drives using this board can therefore connect directly to high-voltage industrial feeders without an autotransformer. It is engineered for Three-Phase operation, enabling symmetrical loading of all three supply legs and minimizing neutral currents in TN-S networks. A built-in rectifier and interphase reactor create a 12-Pulse topology; this arrangement halves the characteristic harmonics seen with six-pulse designs and reduces the burden on upstream filters. The integrated EMC network carries B-Type radio-frequency interference hardware, so conducted emissions remain within limits when the drive is installed in commercial or light-industrial zones.
The assembly ships with a gross shipping mass of 1 kg, and its cubic envelope occupies 14.235 dm³, letting it fit into compact spare-parts kits or service vehicles. Stock control uses the EAN code 5710107586653, simplifying automated warehouse scans and cross-referencing with maintenance software. Because the unit is delivered as a fully populated Power Card, technicians do not need to transfer discrete semiconductors or capacitors during replacement; only the original fasteners and bus-bar hardware are reused, keeping installation time predictable and limiting the chance of wiring errors.
