The Okuma manufactured DC-S1B serves as a DC power supply designed to power two-axis servo drives. This device, equipped with battery and ultralow voltage inputs besides AC and DC ones, converts AC supply voltage into the required DC voltage. Its primary components include a transformer to step down the voltage, a rectifier for current direction control, and a converter creating steady direct current. Accompanied by other types, it is available as constant voltage/current, programmable, and multiple outputs. The DC-S1B is offered in regulated form, identified by separate constant current and constant voltage LED indicators. The unit has coarse and fine rotary knobs, ensuring the output remains constant even when the input varies. To reduce the noise generated by the rectifier, it employs high-capacitance capacitors.
