The power supply comprises four key components, sequentially connected: a transformer, a rectifier, a filter, and finally a regulator. The transformer adjusts the AC signal to the necessary DC level for output and functions as an isolator. The rectifier uses this output signal to deliver a pulsating, rectified DC signal. Its filter, a fully-equipped capacitor, then minimizes AC variation.
