The Kollmorgen-manufactured DSA 007-230 is a dependable servo drive platform engineered for advanced motion control. It utilizes a Windows-based interface called DSAPro. Key features include highly precise single-axis position control and an internal memory that can store 64-index moves. It serves as a universal drive system capable of acting as a variable speed drive, stepper drive replacement, and analog input velocity servo. Compatibility with a variety of motor systems is assured, owing to the provision for automatic configuration as an AC brushless servo drive upon motor selection, facilitated by DSAPro. The DSA 007-230 excels in demanding applications, due to the use of single and multiturn encoders for optimal low-speed performance. Multiple command sources, including step and direction, analog velocity input, master encoder follower, and digital serial commands may be configured. It also features a high velocity loop bandwidth of up to 400 Hz and a non-volatile personality module for storing all tuning and setup parameters.
