The EL6695 EtherCAT bridge terminal, manufactured by Beckhoff Automation, facilitates real-time data exchange between EtherCAT terminal strands controlled by different masters. Equipped with a CoE configuration, this compact device offers high data throughput and device emulation options. The terminal can be easily diagnosed via status LEDs and securely attached to a 35mm C-rail as per EN 60175 specifications. The EL6695 supports Cage Clamp wiring and can routinely operate at temperatures between 0°C and 55°C. It accommodates asynchronous communication via a variety of protocols including AoE, NPI, EoE, and FoE. Importantly, the EL6695 adheres to EMC immunity/emission in compliance with EN 61000-6-2 or EN 61000-6-4. This terminal is ideally suited for spaces requiring a streamlined solution for complex data exchange with a weight of only 75g and dimensions of 24mm x 100mm x 52mm.
