The Okuma ER-MC-7200D absolute encoder from the Absolute Encoders series by Okuma delivers high-precision position feedback with a Number of Revolutions rating of 7200 and a Lowest Digit Processing resolution of 0.0001. As an Absolute Rotary Encoder, it provides reliable Position Feedback and Axis Feedback for demanding motion control tasks. Designed primarily for advanced industrial automation, it ensures accurate measurement and repeatability in CNC and robotic systems.

Featuring a robust stainless steel enclosure and an integrated EEPROM for calibration data storage, the ER-MC-7200D operates on DC 24V ±10%/-15% and endures environmental conditions from -20°C to +60°C with up to 80% humidity. It offers an NPN open-collector output option, supports 4-phase resolution through a 4-pin thru-hole mounting interface, and is equipped with a precision shaft. The encoder’s core signal processor interprets data from optical or magnetic disc inputs, while built-in signal conditioning circuitry enhances signal integrity and simplifies installation.

This encoder is fully compatible with OSP 5000 systems and can be physically attached to BL Motors, ensuring seamless integration into existing installations. It supports multiple communication protocols—including SSI, BiSS, CANopen, and EtherCAT—as well as serial and parallel digital outputs, and is programmable for additional protocols if required.
