Primarily intended for use with IndraDrive asynchronous motors, it can also operate with synchronous motors, albeit with additional installation and commissioning requirements. This advanced controller supports various encoder systems with a supply voltage range of 5 to 12 V, including MSK, MSM, MS2N, 1Vpp sin-cos, HIPERFACE, EnDat 2.1, EnDat 2.2, and 5VTTL encoder with reference track. It can be used with the IndraDrive Cs series to control asynchronous Rexroth IndraDrives either in open-loop operation (without a motor encoder) or in closed-loop operation (with a motor encoder). Although the controller is capable of operating with synchronous motors, additional considerations are required when selecting an appropriate measuring system.
