The B-604-C-31-B3 is a precision-engineered servo motor from Kollmorgen's GOLDLINE series. It's designed to operate optimally in demanding industrial environments and offer top-tier position and speed control for various machinery. Equipped with a safety-focused explosion-proof design, this motor also features an electromagnetic fail-safe brake with a 48 Nm holding torque for emergency halting and static parking requirements. With low inertia, it excels in fast acceleration, rapid start-stop applications, and repeatable reciprocating motion. Reaching a maximum speed of 4300 rpm, it generates 8.6 kW power at the output shaft. The motor's armature can withstand temperatures up to 180 °C courtesy of its class H insulation, and it offers underwater usability due to an IP 67 sealing ring. Capable of producing a 33.6 Nm continuous torque at the shaft’s end with a peak current of 114.8 A, it also comes with a 0.6% average-to-peak voltage ripple DC tachometer to control position at low speeds.
