The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MAC090C-0-GD-4-C-110-A-1-WI520LV-S001 is a MAC Series AC Servo motor notable for its unique, user-customisable output shaft design. Although usage of a plain output shaft is advisable due to its ability for non-positive and backlash-free torque transmission, the product provides for an output shaft with a keyway, compliant with DIN 6885 standards, ideal for applications with lesser torsion demands. However, due to associated axial, radial and torsion loads, this could lead to potential deformation and fractures. For environments subjected to water or dirt, the motor features an IP 65 protection category via a flange-fixed shaft seal that prevents fluid penetration into the housing along the shaft. This is consistent across MAC071, MAC090, MAC093, MAC112 and MAC115 series, where any applied load on the motor shaft is due to forces impacting the axial or radial aspects of the shaft.
