The Bosch Rexroth Indramat MDD071B-N-040-N2T-095PA1 is a high-functioning AC motor designed to operate optimally in ambient temperatures of 0 to 45 degrees Celsius and altitudes of 0 to 1000 meters. The motor output decreases or "derates" as temperature and altitude increase beyond these parameters. Housed in an IP65 rated casing, the motor guarantees protection against contact with high-voltage parts and intrusion of water or foreign objects. The standard black prime-coated housing can be repainted if required. The motor, which can handle exceptional demands when shock-damped mounted, is cooled by natural convection or surface cooling and operates at a nominal speed of 4000 RPM. It features an integrated multiturn encoder for digital servo feedback, a keyway on the shaft to prevent relative rotation, and a 3 Nm blocking brake. The motor weighs 8.8 kilograms with the power connector located on side A of the housing.
